Since 1991, the chief physician of the Cantonal
Centre has been Dr. Jürg Stamm,
gynaecologist and obstetrician, specialising in
gynaecological endocrinology and the medicine of
human reproduction. |

Dr. Marco Buttarelli M.D. was in charge of the Fertility, Endocrinology and Menopause Centre at the Del Ponte Hospital in Varese (University of Insubria) until October 2009.
From January 2010 to December 2010 he served as an adjunct physician at the Locarno Regional Hospital’s Fertility Centre where he will carry out the role of Department Head from January 2011. He was a contract professor at the University of Insubria for the Degree Course in Obstetrics from 2001 to 2009 teaching gynaecological endocrinology.
He is author and co-author of scientific articles in national and international magazines. He has acted as speaker at numerous national and international educational events. |

The Reproduction Biology Laboratory of
the Cantonal Fertility Centre is a part
of the Department of Laboratory Medicine
of the cantonal hospital organisation (EOLAB).
All of its activities in andrology and assisted
reproduction therapy are carried out in an environment
accredited to ISO 17025.
The Laboratory Director is Alessandra
Fusconi, biologist, specialised in applied
genetics, under whose supervision work:
